RAJOURI: Kings XI Rajouri and Rajouri Badshah won respective Pool A and B matches in the ongoing Dhanidar Premier T20 League, organised by Thannamandi-based Army’s Rashtriya Rifles in different venues, here on Wednesday.
In the Pool A match played at District Police Lines Ground here, Kings XI Rajouri outplayed Reasi Mountain Raiders by a big margin of 112 runs.
Batting first, Kings XI Rajouri powered by Asif Malik’s performance scored 195 runs for the loss of seven wickets. In reply, Reasi Mountain Raiders failed to chase the target and was bundled out for just 83 runs in 17.4 overs.
In Pool B match played at Rajouri Sports Stadium, Rajouri Badshah thrashed Nowshera Shera by three wickets.
Batting first, Nowshera Shera scored 144 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs which was successfully chased by Rajouri Badshah with a score of 147/7 in 16 overs. Adrees Mirza, who grabbed three wickets for 35 runs and remained unbeaten with 10 runs, was declared Man of the Match.
Kings XI Rajouri shall play Poonch Royals at District Police Lines Ground and Doda Diamonds shall play Rajouri Badshah at Rajouri Sports Stadium tomorrow.
