RAJOURI: Police on Wednesday arrested a kingpin of bike lifter gang and recovered 5 more bikes on his disclosure.
As per the details, SHO Police Station Dharamsal Insp. Darshan Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Nawaz Ahmed Chouhan DYSP and ASP Nowshera Atul Sharma SP and over all supervision of SSP Rajouri Sulaiman Choudhary arrested the kingpin of a gang of motor cycle lifter Mohd. Imran son of Mohd. Rashid resident of Challas, Rajouri who was active in Rajouri and Jammu and was evading his arrest from last one month.
Two other member of the gang were arrested by Police Station Dharamsal in the begging of this month and eight stolen motorcycles were recovered from them. A case vide FIR No.91/16 under section 379/RPC was registered against Mohd. Imran and two others. On interrogation Mohd. Imran disclosed some more thefts of motorcycles from different part of the Jammu city . On his disclosure, five motorcycles were recovered from different parts of the state. Some more recoveries of stolen motorcycles are also expected to be made from him.
