REASI: Police on Saturday recovered woman from Punjab who was kidnapped on 20th October 2016 from Talwara.
As per the details, on 25th October 2016 one person resident of Talwara Tehsil Reasi appeared before Police Post Talwara and lodged a written report at that his wife has been kidnapped by one Kishore Singh son of Sabal Singh resident of Bathoie Mahore since 20th October 2016 and accused person has fled with his wife to an unknown place.
On this information case vide FIR No.160/2016 under section 366/RPC was registered in Police Station Reasi. During investigation police conducted a series of raids at different suspicious locations in State as well as outside state.
After hectic efforts, the police team under the supervision of SI Vinod Kumar, In-Charge Police Post Talwara, Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, SHO Police Station Reasi and Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman, Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi succeeded in recovering the kidnapped lady from Pathankote Punjab from the possession of the accused person.
The accused person namely Kishore Singh has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
