POONCH: Khanaiter Volleyball Club shall take on Gobhi Club in the final of the Nangi Tekri Dogra Battalion Volleyball Tournament at Army ground, Jhulas, here.
Earlier, in the semfinals, decided today, Gobhi Club defeated Behra Volleyball Club 3-0 (25:19, 25:21, 25:18) while Khanaiter Club trounced Philor Club 3-0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:17).
Sarpanch Lower Jhulas, Paras Ram Sharma was the Chief Guest in today’s semifinals, who appreciated the efforts of organisers, especially the Indian Army towards the betterment of youth in the border areas.
Those prominent present were Javid Ahmed, Mohd Maroof, Ramiz Tariq, Ayaz Ahmad Madni and Mohd Aziz.
