JAMMU: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Charanjeet Singh Khalsa today inaugurated the lane/drain work in village Chatha Farm in the presence of large number of locals and prominent persons of the areas benefitting the displaced persons of PoK. The estimated cost of the work rupees five lakh was given by Khalsa out of his Constituency Development Fund.
Charanjeet Singh Khalsa in his address said that the demand for construction of these lanes and drains was projected by the locals which has now been completed for the benefit of people living in the colony displaced persons of the PoK area.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion include Balvinder Singh Happy (BJP vice president Block Satwari), Avtar Sintgh, Devinder Singh and Rajinder Singh Saraba.
