kejriwalNew Delhi:- Union Sports minister Vijay Goel today termed as “anti-national” Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s statement equating the relations between the Centre and his government to that of India and Pakistan and sought an apology for him.

“It is scandalous that Kejriwal is equating Delhi with Pakistan. It is an anti-national statement. By playing a victim and equating Delhi with Pakistan, Kejriwal has put India’s image at stake. How will he reply to this if he appears on international forum someday,” Goel said.

In the first edition of his nearly two hour-long online show “Talk to AK” yesterday, Kejriwal had said, “If they (The Narendra Modi dispensation) would not have made this India- Pakistan situation, then work done by us would have been four times (more).”

Terming his statement as “irresponsible” and “unbecoming of a Chief Minister”, Goel sought an apology from Kejriwal and said the people of Delhi along with BJP workers will take to streets if he fails to do so.

He also rejected the claims of development by the AAP government in Delhi and “challenged” Kejriwal to accompany him for a tour of the city for assessment of development done by his government so far.

Goel also accused Kejriwal of bringing down the level of political discourse in the country by using words like “psychopath and coward” for the Prime Minister and “Thulla” for Delhi Police personnel.
