Keep vigil during Yatra days: SSP to jawans

KISHTWAR: Sandeep Wazir, SSP Kishtwar held Darbar of the officers and jawans at District Police Lines on Saturday. SSP Kishtwar was accompanied by Abdul Qayoom Addl. SP Kishtwar, Irshad Ahmed Dy.SP Ops Kishtwar and Manoj Kumar DY.SP DAR Kishtwar.
SSP Kishtwar while addressing the officers and jawans told that keeping in view the forth coming Urs-Shah-Farid-Ud-Din Sahib, Eid Ul Fitr, Machail Mata Yatra, Hud Mata Yatra, ongoing Mindal Mata Yatra and about 50 more expected local Yatras, there is an urgent need to ensure vigil and high alertness by the police wherever they deployed. He said that all the vehicles entering to Kishtwar from any side should be thoroughly checked after 10.00 pm till morning. Though random checking during day should also be done to avoid any untoward incident. He also cautioned to remain careful to any nefarious designs by the ANEs which may have bearing on law and order problem. He further told that police personnel performing naka/patrolling duty especially in city area has also to take preventive measures in case they notice any public nuisance, eve teasing, wrong parking, rash driving etc in their areas of deployment in addition to their assigned duties. They shall not remain mute spectator to traffic jam also.
