JAMMU: With World Cup T20 fever on a rise, a prayer meeting was held here to invoke the Lord to ensure victory for the Indian team against Pakistan in tomorrow’s match. Members of the Kranti Dal, Jammu and Kashmir held a ‘Hawan’ in the city and prayed to Almighty to give blessings to Team India in the ICC World Cup T20 against its arch rival Pakistan. “We extended our best wishes to the Men in Blue as India take on Pakistan on Saturday with the hope that national cricket team would win against Pakistan” said Pritam Sharma, State President, Krandi Dal,
“We wish India good luck. India must surely win by scoring good runs and we hope that India brings victory in its second match,” he said. “As India has lost against New Zealand in its first match, so we are hopeful that India will surely win against Pakistan,” he added.
