JAMMU: The KC Sports Club on Saturday made it to the semifinals of the ongoing Fourth Eid Diwali Christmas Twenty20 Cricket Cup beating Jammu Stars XI by 49 runs at Parade Ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, KC Sports XI scored 173 runs in the given 20 overs losing all their wickets. Surya top scored with 42 runs and Shubam Pundhir made 36. Micky took four and Bhanu three wickets for Jammu Stars.
In reply, Jammu Stars, could not achieve the target and was bowled out for 124 runs thus lost the match by 49 runs. Anand Tripathi and Micky were main scorers with 23 and 17 runs respectively.
Arjun Choudhary and Karan Bhat shared three wickets each while Vivek took two for KC Sports Club. Suyra was declared Man of the Match. Today’s quarterfinal was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Sandeep Manchanda, Vinod, Sanju and Danny.

Second JKP New Year Tri-Series Cricket Tournament for under-15 boys at Parade Ground, here from tomorrow.
In all, three teams of JKP Juniors, Christian Sports Junior and KC Sports shall compete for the top honours in this event, a handout issued here on Saturday informed.
