JAMMU: Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) and Jammu Cricket Club registered win in the ongoing Simula T20 Super League being organised by Simula Global Group of Companies and Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at Science Hostel Ground, here on Sunday.
In first match, KCCC defeated RCC by nine wickets. Batting first, RCC was bowled out for 68 runs in 16.3 overs. Musaif with (21), Aithsham (11) and Dilbag Singh (9) runs were the main scorers.
For KCCC, Vishal and Bandral shared three wickets each while Ramdyal, Bandeep and Akash took one wicket each for the team. KCCC, in reply achieved the target in 7.3 overs for the loss of one wicket. Vimarsh Kaw played a fine inning of 41 runs followed by Jatin who added 26 to the total. For RCC, Dilbag Singh took a lone wicket. Vimarsh was adjudged Man of the Match and awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000.
In another match, JCC outplayed Singh Cricket Club (SCC) by seven wickets.
Batting first, Singh Club was bundled out for 89 runs in 20 overs. Pankaj with 19, Sonu Manohar 17 and S Malotra 16 runs were the main scorers. For JCC, Deepak Dogra, Rahil Singh, Vishwajeet Singh, Vivek Singh and Vivrant shared two wickets each.
JCC, in reply, achieved the target in 11.3 overs for the loss of three wickets. Vishavjeet Singh and Paras made 30 each while Sandeep contributed 12 runs to the total. For Singh Cricket Club , Vishal took two wickets while Sham, Sonu Malotra and Sushil shared apiece each. Vishwajeet Singh was adjudged Man of the Match and awarded with a cash prize of Rs.1000.
Today’s matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Saleem Ur Rehman, Madan Mohan, Sandeep and Vinod Kandayara.
