KC Sports Club lifts Simula T20 Super League

JAMMU: KC Cricket Club (KCCC) lifted Simula T20 Super League organised by Simula Global Group of Companies and Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at Science College Hostel Ground, here on Sunday.
In the final match
played on Sunday, KC Cricket Club defeated Simula Cricket Club by two runs in a close match.
Batting first, KCCC scored 168 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Jatin was the main player who scored 82 runs, Bandeep Singh made 23 runs and Ankush contributed 18 runs to the total.
For Simula Club, Ritik picked three wickets whereas Raman Dutta, Manzoor and Hardeep Singh shared one wicket each.
In reply, Simula Club could not achieve the target and made 166 in 19.5 overs for the loss of ten wickets. Puneet scored 39 runs followed by Mohit and Manzoor, who added 22 and 20 runs to the total.
For KCCC, Manik Gupta claimed four wickets while Ramdayal and Ankush took two wickets each and Ajay picked one.
Jatin was declared as the Man of the Match in final while Raman Dutta and Shashi were adjudged as Best Bowler and Best Batsman and Hardeep Singh was declared as Man of the Series. Ritik was adjudged as Best Fielder and Best disciplined Player of the league.
The final match was officiated by Saleem Ur Rehman, Sadiq Hussain, Amit Gupta, Madan Mohan, Sandeep Manchanda, Ashok and Vinod. Whereas the proceedings of the valediction function was conducted by Rajesh Dhar.
In the valedictory function, Dr. Vinod Kumar SP City was the Chief Guest whereas Ramesh Mahajan, Ranjeet Kalra, Desh Rattan and Ankush Abrol were the Guests of Honour. Vikrant from Big FM, Rahul Mahajan, Ashwani Gupta, Aman Gupta, R Chahal and Anand Tripathi were also present.
Ranjeet Kalra Vice Chairman Jammu Sports Council said that this type of tournaments for our State cricketers is the need of the hour and he praised Hilal Rather, Chairman of the Org. Committee for providing platform to the cricketers to play a quality cricket here and also for providing all support to the needed players during all times. He also praised Rajesh Gill Coordinator for always being in the cricket events with full dedication.
