JAMMU: Rahul Mussa’s five wickets haul and Ishaan’s brilliant knock of 78 runs guided Challenger Cricket Club to a ten-wicket victory over Wave Cricket Club in the KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, played on Wednesday. The tournament was sponsored by KC Hyundai Jammu.
Earlier, opted to bat first, Wave Cricket Club amassed 117 runs in stipulated 20 over. Balbir was the top scorer with 53 runs and Charanjeet contributed 13.
For Challenger Cricket Club, Rahul Mussa with his powerful bowling attack clinched five wickets while Mudassir took three.
In reply, Challenger Cricket Club played valiantly and chase target in 13.3 overs. Ishaan scored 78 runs while Ashu Bansi Lal contributed 36 runs to total. Rahul Mussa declared Man of the Match.
Today match was officiated by Rajinder Singh, Sandeep Manjanda and Suresh.
