JAMMU: Students of 4th Semester dominated in the week-long sports meet organised by KC Gurukul College of Education in college premises.
Chairman of the College, Arvind Mahajan was Chief Guest who inaugurated sports week in which various sports activities like Kho-kho, cricket, badminton, chess, table tennis and spoon-race were conducted.
Students of 4th Semester won the cricket match defeating students of 2nd Semester. Students of 4th Semester also emerged winner in kho-kho.
In badminton, Sunil of 1st Semester and Heena of 4th Semester were declared as winners while in chess, Sourav and Nisha Sharma were declared as winners in respective boys and girls sections.
Arvind Mahajan, in his address, said that aim of event is to provide an opportunity to students to develop mentally and physically for their overall development apart from academic knowledge. The programme was organised under guidance of members of Sports Committee.
Principal, Anubha Munshi appreciated and congratulated students and staff members of College. She also presented vote of thanks.?
