JAMMU: To mark World AIDS Day, NSS Wing of KC College of Education on Saturday organised an awareness rally.
The rally was flagged off by Principal of the College, Dr. Sanjay Tikoo. About 70 NSS volunteers participated in the rally headed by NSS Programme Officer Priya Gupta and accompanied by staff members.
The volunteers carried posters, slogans and banners conveying different messages essential to prevent deadly disease.
They walked along the whole area of Udheywala slum and then back to college. The purpose was to aware the local people about HIV-AIDS. The door to door campaign was also conducted as part of this awareness programme.
