JAMMU: Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu in collaboration with Blood Transfusion Department GMC, Jammu and J&K State Aids Control Society organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on Saturday in the premises of KC College of Education, Jammu. On the occasion many student volunteers and teachers of the college donated blood.
Prior to that the students were encouraged and motivated for blood donation, the noblest cause on the earth by Dr. Shamima Bano, Principal, KC College of Education and Programme Officer Dr. Deepshikha Gupta, Dr. Sonia Gupta along with her team Sonu Sharma, Counsellor, Sunita and Rakesh as Lab. Technicians and Bhupinder.
The camp was organized under the supervision of R.C Puri, Hony. Secretary, IRCS, Region Jammu and Dr. Vijay Sawhney, HoD, Blood Transfusion , GMC, Jammu. Besides this Sita Ram Sharma, Member Executive Committee of IRCS, Region Jammu was also present on the occasion.
