Kavinder slams Congress for pursuing divisive politics
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, strongly criticized the Congress party for indulging in divisive politics and prioritizing appeasement over national unity.
Speaking at the meeting, the BJP stalwart echoed the sentiments expressed by BJP National President, J.P. Nadda, regarding the Congress’ manifesto, which he alleged to be a blueprint for division akin to the agenda of the Muslim League led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah during the pre-independence era.
Kavinder highlighted the historical parallels, stating, “The Congress’ manifesto mirrors the divisive agenda of the Muslim League, which sought reservation on religious lines in 1929. By perpetuating appeasement politics, the Congress is jeopardizing the fabric of our nation.”
He further accused the Congress of disregarding the interests of the majority community and attempting to sow seeds of discord for their own political gains.
