KATHUA: District Wrestling Championship was held at Kathua Stadium on Saturday under the patronage of J and K Wrestling Association.
Among the prominent personalities of J and K Wrestling Association present on the occasion were Subhash Singh Jamwal, Sunil Singh, Deeraj Sharma, Ravinder Kumar and Gurdeep Singh.
The first three position holders were awarded by the association.
Results: 51 kgs: Liyakat Ali 1st, Baru Hussian 2nd and Suleman 3rd. 57 kgs: Showkat Ali 1st, Saraj-u-Din 2nd and Nazir Ahmad 3rd. 61 kgs: Yaqoob Ali 1st, Liyakat Ali 2nd and Mohd Sadiq 3rd. 65 kgs: Sharif Ali 1st, Sharif Ahmad 2nd and Mushad Ali 3rd. 74 kgs: Rashid 1st, Sahil Dogra 2nd and Rahul Kumar 3rd. 84 kgs: Din Mohammad 1st, Shabir Hassan 2nd and Subash Singh3rd.
