Kashmiri leaders should stop befooling people: Y V Sharma
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Spokesperson J&K BJP, Y V Sharma has asked all so-called Kashmiri leaders to stop befooling people by issuing false, baseless, irresponsible and highly provocative statements at a time when the conditions in J&K are fast returning to normalcy and region is witnessing an era of unprecedented development in almost every sphere of activity. In a press statement issued here on Wednesday, Sharma reacted sharply to a recent statement given by Omar Abdullah, the former Chief Minister and National conference Vice President, claiming that terrorism is on rise despite abrogation of Article 370 and BJP befooling nation, Sharma suggested him to shun his communal and myopic attitude, as it is meant to incite the innocent people of J&K. Sharma reminded Omar Abdullah of the conditions prevailing in the erstwhile state before abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A as there were frequent incidents of Hartals, protests, sit-ups, stone pelting and unprovoked firing by terrorists in broad daylight? Referring to Dangri attack and sending more troops to J&K by Government of India, Sharma asserted that BJP Government is determined to root out terrorism once and for all with its full power and determination. Omar must realize that most of the terrorists killed in J&K in recent days are Pakistanis and Government is making all efforts to defeat nefarious designs of enemies.
Sharma lashed out at Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti who frequently talk about having parleys with Pakistan to solve Kashmir problem saying that Pakistan is no party to discuss Kashmir issue. The only problem with Pakistan about Kashmir is that it has to return back the area of Kashmir which it had grabbed illegally as the Government is committed to take the same back. Blaming Kashmir-based politicians for woes of Kashmiri Pandits, Sharma asked Omar Abdullah what he has done to ensure their safe and respectable return to valley.
