Kashmir Division Taekwondo Champ concludes

SRINAGAR: Organised by the J&K Taekwondo Association, under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India and the J&K Sports Council (JKSC), the Kashmir Division inter-club Taekwondo Championship concluded at Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, here.
The championships witnessed participation of around 250 Taekwondo athletes. The event was managed by committee comprising, Nissar Hussain, Suhail Khan and Rohit Sharma under the guidance of Rajesh Pangotra (president) and Ramesh Chander (general secretary) and Amit Gupta (treasurer).
The technical panel comprised Aquib Gulzar, Shah Faiq, Mohsin Ahmad, Suwaid Ahmad, Viqas, Haris Hamid, Semer Sodhi and Adeeba Khursheed.
In the closing function, Sports Officer (central) of JKSC, Javaid Ahmad was Chief Guest while Maqsood Khan (manager Polo ground) was Guest of Honour. Among the special guests were Mohd Iqbal, Goutam Shukla, Tariq Lone, Faizan Waheed, Khan Raja and Dr Yawar (Physio).
Earlier, the championship was declared open by Maqsood-ul-Zaman (SSP Traffic, Srinagar) in the presence of guest of honour, Rouf Ahmed Bhat (under Secretary to Government).
