POONCH: Kangaroo Club and Khet Cricket Club registered win in the ongoing Shaheed Manjit Singh Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament at Degree College Ground, here on Friday.
Earlier, in the first match, Kangaroo Club defeated Singh Warrier Club by five wickets.
Batting first, Singh Warrier Club was bundled out on 105 runs in 17 overs and in reply, Kangaroo Club achieved the target in 13th over for the loss of five wickets. Apranjot scored 38 runs for Kangaroos.
For Singh Warrier Satinderpal took three wickets. In another match, Khet Cricket Club outplayed Raza-ul-Uloom team by five wickets.
Raza-ul-Uloom, batting first, scored 46 runs which in reply Khet Club achieved comfortably in 9th over.
CEO Municipality Poonch, Arshad Sofi was the special guest in today’s match.
The matches were officiated by the technical panel comprising Harbans Singh, Waseem Raja, Imran Khan, Zaid Sharif and Romesh Sharma.
