The Sixth World Kabaddi Cup in Jalalabad was dull. About 15 teams of men and women participated, but all teams were at the learning stage, except India. Hence they are no match for India since kabaddi is our traditional sport. Thus India is the only claimant to the cup, which does not carry any meaning because every match with India was one-sided. So, it is just a sheer splurge of hard-earned money of taxpayers. I am surprised how Sukhbir Badal is hoping kabaddi should be included in the Olympics and the Asian Games when it could not be a part of the Punjab and National Games.
