JWAM threatens Jammu Bandh over Rohingyas, Bangladeshis settlement

JAMMU: Expressing concern over the illegal settlement of Rohingya and Bangladeshi Muslims in Jammu region, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) threatened Jammu Bandh if government fails to repatriate these foreign nationals to their native countries before 27th February.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, President JWAM, Sunil Dimple said that the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis are the great threat to the State and alleged that they have links with the anti-national elements. He said all the BJP MLAs and MLCs are silent on their settlements and sitting mum for the sake of power.
Dimple mentioned that the State Government had also admitted on the floor of the House that there were several thousands of Burmese and Bangladeshi immigrants who had been unlawfully settled in the outskirts of Jammu city and Samba by several NGOs.
Dimple questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State BJP unit to clear their stand on the settlement of the Rohingyas in Jammu region.
Dimple appealed to all social as well as political organisations like Bar Association, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Congress Party, National Conference, Panthers Party, Shiv Sena, transporters association, etc. to remain united and get ready for the Jammu Bandh against the illegal settlement of foreign nationals in Jammu.
Dimple stressed upon the government to deport all theses foreign nationals from the State before 27th February failing which the JWAM will call for Jammu Bandh.
