JAMMU: Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Executive Chairman, SLSA held video conferencing with Chairpersons of DLSA’s from 13th November to 15th November 2014 in the State with regard to the 2nd National Lok Adalat to be held on 6th of December 2014. Executive Chairman asked the Chairpersons of DLSA’s to prioritize the identification of Criminal Compoundable cases, Cases under 138 NI Act, MACT cases, matrimonial disputes, Labour disputes, Land acquisition cases, bank recovery cases, pre-litigation matters. His Lordship asked the Chairpersons to hold of Pre-Lok Adalat Sessions for the MACT cases and bank cases in anticipation of National Lok Adalat to the 2nd National Lok Adalat to be held on 6th of December, 2014.
Justice Yaqoob Mir stressed upon the Chairpersons of DLSA’s to hold meeting with District Magistrates of their District, so that the Revenue cases, MNREGA cases, cases of flood affected are identified and taken up in National Lok Adalat. Executive Chairman directed the Chairpersons of DLSA’s to monitor the performance of PLVs ensure the implementation of various NALSA schemes, State Plan of action, calendar of activities and project for focus implementation adopted by J and K SLSA, for the calendar year 2014-2015.JNF
