JAMMU: Jump Rope Association of J and K team welcomed the Jump Rope team after their successful participation in the 11th Senior Nation Jump Rope Championship held at Gujarat from 1st to 5th October, 2014. General Secretary of the Association, Dr. Seema Pawan Manhas and associate members of the association congratulated players on their praiseworthy performance in the national level.
Among the 20 states of the country J and K state bagged third position by snatching 20 medals including three gold, five silver and 12 bronze.
Gold: Uddit Khullar (Speed 30 sec, Double under and Tripple under). Silver: Raja Babu (Speed 30 sec), Navjot Singh, Tashir Ahmed, Rahul Chowdhary and Nadeem Sayyad (Team Event). Bronze: Aman Rai, Ibrar Khan, Mohit Kumar, Sanjeet Saini (Team Event), Navjot Singh, Tashir Ahmed, Rahul Choudhary (Double Touch), Navjot Singh, Tashir Ahmed, Rahul Choudhary and Nadeem Sayyad (Double Touch pair speed relay).
The team was headed by Shubam Malhotra.
