JAMMU: MSME-Development Facilitation Office, Jammu the field office of Union Ministry of MSME implements various schemes and activities for the benefit of MSME Sector for Jammu & Kashmir. Exhibition cum Trade Fair on PM Vishwakarma for artisans registered under the scheme is being organized by MSME-DFO Jammu at Gandhinagar Market / Gole Market Jammu from Oct 24 to 29, 2024. The exhibition was inaugurated by Jugal Kishore, MP. During the inaugural address, MP elaborated the benefits of the scheme in detail and praised the performance of districts Jammu and Budgam. Awards were given to Dr. Arun Kumar Manhas Director Industries & Commerce Govt. of J&K for the nodal department in making J&K No.3 in training performance in the country.
Valluru Babu ISDS Joint Director, MSDE, Govt. of India, Jammu, Rohit Kumar, Chief Manager UTLBC J&K bank, , Virendra Manyal, Member Secretary District Implementation Committee received the award for making Jammu District under top 10 districts of India in Training under PM Vishwakarma & Mujeeb Beigh, Dy. Director for District Budgam. This programme is organized as per the directions of G. Velladurai IEDS Joint Director. The exhibition is being organized for improving the marketing potential of J&K’s talented Viswakarmas. The stalls are offered free of cost to the artisans along with reimbursements for their accommodation and other charges limiting to Rs.5750/- per artisan. Vikram Randhawa, MLA, Bahu, Dist Jammu participated as Guest of Honor and spoke on the Occasion and motivated the artisans to make benefit of the exhibition. He has mentioned Jammu and Kashmir has moved in the implementation and has been a role model to other states and UTs for the remaining parts of the Country.
Various dignitaries from adjoining districts including GM, DIC, Udampur and GM DIC, Kathua, DGM, SIDBI, Rahul Sahai, Chairman PHD participated in the programme. DK Tyaghi, Asst Director from MSME DFO Jammu co-ordinated the exhibition.
