JAMMU: The University of Jammu Hockey (Women) team won their first match by beating Allahabad University team by 9-0 goals in the North Zone Inter University Hockey (W) Tournament 2015-16 organised by Lucknow University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
The first goal of the match was scored by Manpreet Kour in 15 minutes by converting penalty corner and second field goal was also scored by Manpreet Kour in 23rd minutes. Rishu Sharma, the Captain of JU team scored four goals in 30th, 37th, 45th and 51th minutes of the match. Sita Sharma scored last three goals for the team in the 53rd, 56th and 60th minutes.
P.D Singh and Leena Devi are accompanying the Jammu University team as Coach and Manager respectively for the tournament.
