JAMMU: University of Jammu (JU) made a winning start in the North Zone
Inter-University Football Tournament being held at Amity University, Noida on Friday.
As per the report reaching here, JU trounced Uttranchal Technical University, Dehradun by two goals to one. Vivasvan Sawhney in the 12th minute and Ravi B Rana in the 55th netted the ball from J and K.
Now, in their next outing of this knock-out competition, JU shall take on Amity University, Maneswar
tomorrow.
The JU team is accompanied by experienced football coach of the University, Gagan Kumar and led by Gagandeep Singh of Post Graduate (PG) Departments.
