JAMMU: The University of Jammu successfully conducted screening/written examinations for various non-teaching positions including Assistant Registrar, Law Officer, Junior Engineers, Lab Assistant (Zoology), Electrician ( Bhaderwah Campus), Field Assistant cum storekeeper (landscaping unit), Museum cum Animal Keeper (Zoology), Semi Professional Assistant, Telephone Lineman, Work Supervisor (works Department), Curator (Botany), Storekeeper (Geology) and Junior Assistant.

The screening/written examinations were conducted at various centres in offline mode whereas, for the post of junior assistant, the screening was held for the first time in online mode.
Prof Umesh Rai, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu complimented Prof Pankaj Srivastava, Coordinator, Entrance Examination Cell, and his team for their splendour hard work, and meticulous organization of this mega event.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Pankaj Srivastava said that approximately 6300 applicants were found eligible for the said posts and he expressed his gratitude to all the faculty members, Officers, and staff involved into the successful conduct of the various examinations.
It is pertinent to mention here that senior Officers of UT J&K Government and officers from the Cluster University of Jammu were also appointed as external observers for ensuring examinations are held in a smooth and transparent manner.
The answer key for all the objective types offline paper shall be available on the Jammu University website for two days from 29th November 2022. The candidates, if any case of any doubt can submit their grievance(s) in online mode through the dedicated JU website within two days from 29th November until Ist December 2022 upto 5.00 PM.
