JAMMU: Professor of Physics and Chief-Coordinator Offsite Campuses of Jammu University, Dr. Rajni Kant was selected as member of National Academy of Sciences India (NASI).
Prof. Rajni Kant has also been selected recently to the International Council for Science Unions (ICSU) as a member of the select committee for International Union of Crystallography-Indian National Science Academy [IUCr-INSA]. With his selection to NASI, Prof. Rajni Kant has become the only academician from the State of Jammu and Kashmir, in general, and University of Jammu in particular, to have representation in both the
Apex Scientific Bodies of the country.
The recognition of this kind has been conferred on Prof. Rajni Kant for the significant contribution he and his team have made in the field of Small Molecule X-ray crystallography research.
