JAMMU: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front J and K was held under its President Shadi Lal Pandita to discuss the upcoming annual Khir Bhawani Yatra on Zeshtha Ashtami falling on 26th May 2015, wherein thousands of Yatris are likely to participate from Jammu as well as across the country.
It has unanimously been decided that Yatra shall proceed from Jammu on 25th of May 2015 to Tulamulla Ganderbal and shall be back by 28th May 2015.
Pandita demanded free bus service for the Yatris as per past practice.
The committee also sought permission for bus owners / drivers who want to ply their vehicles between Jammu to Khir Bhawani Kashmir for facilitating the devotees on Zeshtha Ashtami.
Others present in the meeting include Rajinder Dhar, Inder Labroo, Rattan Lal Bhat, Ramesh Bhat, Vijay Pandita, S.L Kar, Hari Krishan, Mithen Pandita, Piaray Lal Pandita, P.L Bhat, Ramnath Pandita, C.L Pandita, M.L Akhoon and Sanjay Pandita.
