SAMBA: JSS Mahavidyapeetha established the JSS College of Pharmacy, Najwal, Vijaypur, here (Approved by PCI, New Delhi) and will be affiliated to University of Jammu and Pharmacy Council of J&K shortly, to cater the needs of the aspirants of UT of Jammu and Kashmir and will further increase the job opportunity for the youth of J&K and other neighbouring states.
Sri Suttur Math has got a spiritual lineage of more than 1000 years with service to the society starting from Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Swamiji who was the first pontiff of the Math.
The 23rd pontiff Jagadguru Dr Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji had a vision to establish education institutions as he felt that ‘Ignorance is the root of all evils in the society and education is sovereign remedy” and founded the JSS Mahavidyapeetha in the year 1954.
Today, the organisation has grown manifold and JSS Mahavidyapeetha is embarking to further move forward and evolve itself as a most cherished and respected organization in the region, country and globally.
JSS Mahavidyapeetha has presently institutions starting from Bala Jagat to Higher Education like Medical, Engineering and so on and so forth not only in India, but also across three continents viz. Asia, Africa and USA.
It has three universities, two in Mysore, i.e. JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research and JSS Science & technology University and one offshore university i.e. JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research – Mauritius and is in the process of establishing fourth university at Noida, UP.
JSS MVP is home to presently more than 350+ institutions, 100,000 students and over 20,000 employees and had made its imprints in the States and Union territory of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, besides making its road to overseas in Mauritius, Dubai and USA.
JSS Mahavidyapeetha has also established Pharmacy Colleges at Mysore in 1973 which ranked by NIRF at 7th place, JSS Pharmacy College at Ooty, established in 1980 and NIRF ranked 6, JSS College of Pharmacy, Noida, UP (Established in 2019), JSS College of Pharmacy, Mauritius, East Africa Established in 2021).JSS College of Pharmacy, Jammu has well equipped laboratories to give the best education to make the learner well-educated and leading to total personality development.
