JP World School excels in 12th National Matsogi-Do C’ship

JAMMU: The students of JP World School brought laurels to the State and the school as they emerged as winners in 12th National Matsogi-Do Championship held at Bijapur, Karnataka, recently. A total of 12 students namely Rakib Issaq, Tarik Shafi, Gaurav Dogra, Abhay Singh, Osama Issaq, Kartik Sharma, Mohd. Iqbaal, Asif Khan, Aradhya Gupta, Ansh Singh, Juneid Khan and Krish Partap Singh from JP World School represented Jammu and Kashmir and won 12 medals including two gold, five silver and five bronze.
On the basis of their sports skills, nine students from the tournament namely Rakib Issaq, Tarik Shafi, Gaurav Dogra, Abhay Singh, Osama Issaq, Kartik Sharma, Mohd. Iqbaal, Asif Khan
and Ansh Singh have been selected for the First Federation Cup to be held in Goa in June 2017.
On their arrival in school premises on Monday, the Chairperson Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary and the Principal Jitinder Singh Hundal congratulated the students, parents and the school Coach Pankaj Kumar who trained them to achieve the excellence.
