Jodhamal students win at nationals

JAMMU: Jodhamal Public School students put up a stunning performance in recently concluded 12th National Matsogi-Do Championship in Bijapur, Karnataka.
Jodhamal students, representing J and K team, bagged 18 medals including nine gold, eight silver and one bronze.
The students, who won the medals were Kanwarwal Singh Sudan (two gold, one silver), Aman Gupta, Nikunj Langer, Aryaveer Chouhan and Tejomay Singh (gold) each, Umar Chouhan, Janvi Mahajan and Shruti Suri (one gold, one silver) each, Manya Gupta (two silver) and Chetanaya Sharma (two silver, one bronze).
The Divisional Commissioner, Bijapur (Karnataka) appreciated and congratulated the entire Jodhamal team for winning huge bunch of medals in different categories.
The President Matsogi-Do Federation of India also felicitated the winners.
All the winners were applauded in the special assembly of the school on Saturday. The school Principal, Trilok Singh Bist along with management applauded the students for doing brilliantly well and making the Jodhamal School and J and K State proud.
The School Coach Vishal Samrat was also acknowledged by the principal for preparing the students.
