JAMMU: Jodhamal Kids made their moms feel very special by their Mother’s day celebration.
Senior Coordinator (Acad), Santosh Dogra was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The programme began with the traditional lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest. Primary Coordinator Urmila Kaul presented a report on the fresher’s adjustment in the school.
Jodhamal School celebrated this auspicious occasion with active participation of mothers and children in various activities.
The little Kids presented cultural bonanza in the form of advertisement, songs, dances and fashion show. The main attraction of the programme was Fashion Show of 60’s and 70’s era. Different games were also organised for the talented mothers and prizes were given to winners. Students also spoke beautiful quotes and poem to show their love, affection and gratitude for their mothers.
The Chief Guest, Santosh Dogra appreciated the efforts made by the students and staff to make this occasion special. She said that every child has an idol, be it a favourite sports star, a singer or a superhero. But, it’s not until you get a little older that you realize your hero has been there all along. On Mother’s Day we have an opportunity to celebrate and thank every mother for all that they have done.
The vote of thanks was presented by Monika Sethi, Vice Principal of the School.
