As per the JMC, Roshan Shah Jewellers was carrying out the commercial activity in its building at Channi Himmat in violation of the set norms.
“After following due course of law under provisions laid down under Control of Building Operations Act ,1988, the Enforcement wing of Jammu Municipal Corporation sealed the Building to restrain the violator to undertake any commercial activity,” the JMC stated. “Jammu Municipal Corporation, in its endeavor to make the City encroachment and violation free, fervently appeals the residents to adhere to the extant Building and Civic laws” it stated further.
