JAMMU: Intensifying the drive against the unauthorised constructions, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Mandeep Kaur and Joint Commissioner (Adm.), R.S Jamwal, during their field visit, demolished two ongoing construction works at East Extension, Trikuta Nagar, here on Wednesday.
The said constructions had been raised unauthorisedly by Kailash Choudhary and Vikas Gupta in violation of the building plan and JMC initiated the action under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act 1998. The demolition operation has been conducted with the help of police.
Mandeep Kaur appealed the public to refrain from making illegal constructions and get building plans approved from Corporation otherwise action as admissible under rules leading to demolition /sealing of the building will be taken against the violators.
