JAMMU: Special Excise Magistrate Jammu Amarjeet Singh Langeh rejected the bail application of one Naresh Kumar who produced fake matriculation certificate.
According to the police case that police has registered a FIR on the based of written complaint lodged by GM (Adm) J and K Tourism wherein petitioner is alleged to have forged the Matriculation certificate and it is further alleged that J&K BOSE never issued any matriculation certificate in the name of the petitioner which petitioner furnished to his department.
Special Excise Magistrate Jammu Amarjeet Singh Langeh after hearing Senior PO Jatinder Anand for the State who vehemently resisted the bail application of accused, observed that having regard to the nature of accusation against the petitioner of evidence collected so far, bail if granted at this stage would serve as potential impediment in the investigation aimed at unfolding the networking and linkages involved in the crime at hand and this is all the more relevant when Investigating Agency has not been able to interrogate the petitioner on account of one reason or the other and he being still at large. With these observations Court rejected the bail plea as it had no merit. JNF
