JAMMU: Poetry is the core of literature. To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students of Nursery, an Intra Class English Recitation Competition was organised among the toddlers of class Nursery of JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi.
The cute poets enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, feeling, rhyme, rhythm the music and the aptly made props. The main purpose behind conducting such competitions is to build self confidence, develop the oratory skills and self expression.
It was amazing to see the little jakiians reciting different English poems confidently and using the attractive props so wisely.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah expressed, ” Children get clarity of the Basic concepts with ‘Learning by doing’ methods. We organise Various Co- curricular activities to build up self- confidence of children. Here, Students are guided to work in groups and pairs, so that they develop listening and speaking skills by communication. It was a visual treat to see the performance and expressions of jakiians. I really appreciate the efforts and Personal touch of the parents which was required to make this event meaningful.”
The winners were applauded and praised. The Principal rewarded the winners and the participants with beautiful gifts.
