JKPS Panjtirthi celebrates World Environment Day with enthusiasm

JAMMU: World Environment Day was celebrated with great zeal at JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi to instill awareness and responsibility among students toward environmental conservation. Nisha Chopra, the celebration in-charge, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of preserving the environment. She shared simple yet impactful measures that everyone can adopt to help protect the planet.

Jakiians raised spirited slogans focused on keeping the environment clean and green, echoing the sentiment that “Every Day is an Environment Day.” The students stressed the significance of maintaining green grass and clear blue skies through afforestation and pollution control.
A powerful mime act was performed by the students, showcasing pressing environmental issues and the positive impact of adopting eco-friendly habits in daily life.
Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi Suman Banbah encouraged the students and motivated them to think globally and act locally to heal Planet Earth.
She added, “Let’s nurture the nature so that we can have a better future.”
To further engage the students, a quiz related to environmental awareness was conducted by the Principal, and winners were awarded for their enthusiasm and knowledge.
The celebration was a vibrant reminder of the collective responsibility to safeguard our environment for future generations.
