JKPS Kunjwani’s Aastik lists on top in CBSE 12th Class across J-K Wants to become IAS officer

JAMMU: Touching the pinnacle of excellence in grooming its students from academics to co-curricular activities, the JK Public School Kunjwani has attained a commanding position by achieving spectacular goals in general studies, scholastic arena, sports, spiritual and other activities connected with the schooling activity.
The outstanding performance of JKiians in almost all fields underlines the fact that faculty at JKPS has attained the brilliance required for all round development of students. The latest endowment to the society by JKPS Kunjwani has come up through its shining star Aastik Verma, who secured top slot in CBSE 12th Class examination in the entire Jammu and Kashmir State. This bright student has brought laurels not only for the school but for the entire State.
Interacting with STATE TIMES, Aastik Verma very humbly shared his sweet and sour experiences, and methods which he adopted to attain ultimate goal in the higher secondary examinations.
When asked about his first reaction on topping the table, Aastik said that he took it in a very normal stride although he was extremely happy about the final outcome. He said that this achievement is just the beginning of a new struggle to attain new heights in his career and life.
Aastik proudly announced that he gives all the credit of his triumph to his Chemistry Teacher Niharika Raina because it was her herculean effort that brought in sea change into his mind about this subject which ones, he used to fear.
Speaking eloquently, Aastik said that JKPS faculty members and his parents have acted as a source of inspiration during his preparatory rounds for 12th Class examinations.
Aastik said that he firmly believed that one can attain perfection through practice. He said that idiom ‘practice makes a man perfect’ should be followed by all considering it as a dogma for ensuring precision in life. Responding to a query about his study schedule, he said that besides school and tuition, he used to sit for studies for more than three hours daily. “In case of a holiday, my study schedule accordingly gets expanded with eight to nine hours of self study”, he added.
Talking about his hobbies and interests, Aastik boldly said that his first choice is reading fiction i.e. romantic novels. He said that listening to music is another activity which he loves to engage himself in.
Informing about his future prospects, he said that he will opt to go for computer engineering before going in for civil services.
Giving message to his younger counterparts, Aastik said that key to success is maintaining suitable balance while studying different subjects. “Giving priority to one and ignoring others will never prove fruitful”, he said and added that framing and obeying time table ardently is crucial in attaining excellence besides not giving in to examination stress and related pressure.
