JKPS Kunjwani students selected for Karate Nationals

JAMMU: A healthy nation is always a wealthy nation. It is therefore necessary to put emphasis on sports. In education the importance of games and sports can never be minimised. Keeping this in mind, JK Public School Kunjwani always encourages its players to take up every opportunity that comes their way.
Recently, the students of JK Public School, Kunjwani have been selected for national level Karate championship. They were selected after they won the district level championship at Rotary Club, Jammu.
Students namely Momin Gafoor, Shivam Kapoor, Nikhil Saini, Ridham Mahajan, Anmol Gupta, Karanjeet Singh, Akshat Gupta, Alok Kumar Laskotra, Sahil Gupta and Fahad H Rather have been selected for IKS Cup, 2017 to be held at Sikender Yadav Stadium Ghaziabad (UP) from 27th to 30th January. Principal, S.K Singh congratulated the selected team and wished them good luck. He also appreciated the efforts of the coach Mr Gopal Das for inducing the true spirit of sportsmenship in children.
