JKPS Kunjwani shines in Inter-zonal District level Athletics & Roller Skating Championship -2024

JAMMU: In the Inter-Zonal District Level Athletics Tournament held between September 6 and 10, 2024 at University of Jammu, JK Public school Kunjwani won two Gold, two Silver and two Bronze Medals and in the Roller Skating Championship held at MA Stadium Jammu, the school won two Silver and five Bronze Medals.
In addition, three students of JK Public School have been selected to play at National Level and will be representing Jammu and Kashmir in the upcoming National Skating Championship.
The winner athletes were Saksham Gupta (02 Gold in Discuss Throw and Shot put), Anjali Verma (Silver in Javelin Throw), Akriti (Silver in Shot put) and Payal Kumari (Bronze in High Jump & Long Jump).
The winner skaters were Gurtej Singh (02 Silver and 01 Bronze Medal), Shorey Gupta (02 Bronze Medals) and Neelesh (02 Bronze Medals).
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Educational Society and School Principal Rajesh Rathore extended heartfelt congratulations to the winners and lauded the school coach Shivdev Singh, Varun Anand and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for this brilliant performance.
