JAMMU: In the Inter-school Athletics Meet held recently at Satwari, JK Public School Kunjwani won seven gold medals and four silver medals. The winners include Adhyan P Singh, gold (Short Put); Digvijay Singh, gold (200 Meter); Arnav Gupta, gold (400 Meter); Umar Abbas, gold (High Jump); Prince Pal, gold (High Jump); Seerat-Ul-Nisa, gold (High Jump); Vomika Sharma, gold (Short Put); silver (100 Meter); Soha Ali, silver (400 Meter) and Manyata Sambyal, silver each in High Jump and 100 Meter race.
In the District Roller Sports Championship 2022-23, team JKPS Kunjwani won four gold medals and one bronze medal. The winners include Gurtaj Singh (02 gold); Parakram Singh (Gold); Purushartha Singh (Gold) and Aarush Jain (Bronze).
In the Inter-District Selection Trials of Roller Skating, students of JK Public School Kunjwani won three silver medals and seven bronze medals. The winners include Gurtej Singh, silver (300 Meter); bronze (1000 Meter); Ananya Mathur, silver (300 Meter); Adiva Gupta, silver (500 Meter); Rudra Arora, bronze medal each in 300 meter and 500 meter; Pravleen Singh, bronze medal each in 300 meter and 500 meter and Urvi Gupta, bronze medal each in 300 meter and 500 meter.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Public School and Rajesh Rathore, Principal of the School applauded the winners for their outstanding performance in the events.
Shivdev Singh, Athletics coach and Varun Anand, Roller Skating coach of the school along with Subash Chander, HOD (Sports) were also applauded for preparing the students for the competition.
