JKPS Kunjwani pays Homage to Martyrs on Kargil Vijay Diwas

JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani celebrated 24th Kargil Vijay Diwas to honour the Kargil heroes, who sacrificed their lives for their motherland on 26th July 1999. A special assembly was organized in the school, which started with morning prayer followed by School Song.
A befitting speech by Nimish of Class IX and a group song ‘Ae Watan, Ae Watan ‘ by the students of Middle Wing, filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervour.
Toddlers showcased their talent in mesmerizing dance performance on ‘Sandese Aate hain…’ .
This was followed by a soulful song sung by Pranav Sharma of Class XI.
Tejasvini of Class VIII enlightened everyone with the significance of the day by extolling the valor of those who had sacrificed their lives for the nation. Foot tapping dance by Primary Wing students captivated one and all present there.
On this great day, Director JK Educational Society Shashi Choudhary paid homage to Kargil warriors. She recalled the great sacrifice of Captain Vikram Batra, Captain Saurabh Kalia, Capt Manoj Pandey and many more who sacrificed their lives for the nation. She emphasized that young generation must learn a lesson from their lives that “Nothing is Impossible” and one can achieve anything with determination and perseverance.
The special assembly concluded with National Anthem. Sharav Gupta of Class IX was the anchor of this whole event.
