JKPS Kunjwani pays heartfelt homage to Bravehearts, wishes good luck to their loved ones on Armed Forces Flag Day

JAMMU: “We owe our freedom and security to the bravery and sacrifice of our armed forces”. Such impactful statement created momentum while Sanvi Thapa from Grade 3rd Galaxy alongwith her classmates presented the Morning Assembly at JK Public School, Kunjwani.

Satwik shed more light on the topic by saying, “Armed Forces Flag Day is observed on December 7 every year in India. The main objective of this day is to honour the martyrs and men in uniform who have valiantly fought and will continue to fight for the country”.
“It is the time for Indians to express their gratitude and appreciation for the current and veteran military personnel of India and to acknowledge those who died in service to the country”, he added.
Mansirat Kour touched everyone’s heart while she recited a poignant poem:
Salute to the brave and bold,
Who guard our nation young and old.
Their sacrifices, valour and might,
We honour today, with flags in sight
Let us thank and salute them with pride
For their selfless services side by side
Under the segment Quotations, Rushank quoted Narendra Modi, “The bravery and sacrifices of our armed forces are the bed rock of our nation’s security”. Saksham Saini quoted Vikram Seth, “It is a proud privilege to be a soldier; A soldier belongs to the whole nation. Sara Rajput quoted Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, “Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breadth of each soldier who died protecting it”.
Jasmeh Kour quoted Napoleon, “The army is the true nobility of our country”. Seedakpreet Kour referred to Mahatma Gandhi, “Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breadth of life. What would a man not pay for living”. Ranvaish quoted Gen Omar Bradley, “Bravery is the capacity to perform properly even when scared half to death”.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore applauded the presenters of Morning Assembly for paying their heartfelt homage to Bravehearts and for wishing good luck to their loved ones. He said, “Today, we gather here to mark a day of profound significance, that is, Armed Forces Flag Day. This day is not just an opportunity to honour the brave men and women who safeguard our nation’s sovereignty, but also to remind ourselves of the responsibility we hold as citizens to support them. They stand as sentinels of our freedom, during war and peace alike. Their war cry “Duty Unto Death” inspires us to strive for excellence in our own lives and to contribute meaningfully to our nation”.
“I urge all of you to reflect on the values our armed forces exemplify: dedication, unity, and resilience. Let these values guide you in your daily lives. Furthermore, let us extend our support to our soldiers not only through words but through actions, namely, by contributing to welfare funds, writing letters of gratitude, or simply raising awareness about their sacrifices, each small effort counts”, he added.
“I feel immensely proud that JKPS Kunjwani community holds profound respect and admiration for our Armed forces. Let’s continue to honor their legacy, not just today but forever ahead, by being responsible, patriotic, and compassionate citizens. Let us bow our heads in gratitude for our bravehearts and pledge to stand by them, in times of crises and peace alike. Together, let’s build a nation they can continue to protect with pride”, he concluded.
