JKPS Kunjwani to host workshop on ‘Remaining Relevant and Effective through Self Awareness’ today

JAMMU: Celebrating 25th year of its existence, J K Public School, Kunjwani, is hosting a workshop on ‘Remaining Relevant and Effective through Self Awareness’ on 10th December in the school premises. The workshop is being organized to empower senior teachers of government, public and CBSE schools.
This was stated by Principal J K Public School, Kunjwani, S.K Singh while interacting with media persons here on Friday.
Being the first CBSE affiliated school of J and K, JKPS Kunjwani has initiated innumerable measures to ensure relevant improvement in the field of education, he said. He informed that Dr Raj Singh, Vice Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, Chandigarh will be the resource person during the workshop. The people associated with ‘Google’ will come and interact with students at JK Public School, Kunjwani, he told media persons.
Giving details about the resource person, S.K Singh said Dr Raj has been a vivid researcher and acclaimed trainer in the areas of corporate governance, change management and strategic cost management besides he also represented India at the International Design Summit held in Milan (Italy) in 2013.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani said that the workshop aims at helping teachers to identify and understand the behavioural aspects of their personality and their teaching styles.
“It will assist teachers to exchange information effectively with all the participants in the educational process based on the understanding of the human behaviour and will also help teachers become better human beings,” he said.
The programme, he said, will assist the participants to understand the importance of behavioural issues involved in education delivery process, identify various teaching styles and be more effective as teachers.
“They will be able to demonstrate better communication with all the stakeholders and create better harmony among the persons in their internal environments,” he added.
Teachers from both CBSE and State board affiliated schools are going to be a part of this great initiative, he said, adding “We hope that this workshop will prove to be another stepping stone in improving the standard of education in the State.”
Taking more initiatives, he said, the school is organising ‘Robotics Workshop’ for the students of Jammu region on 21st and 22nd December.
