JKPS Kunjwani honours its cricketer alumnus Vivrant Sharma

JAMMU: Vivrant Sharma, the all-rounder cricketer was invited by his alma mater JKPS Kunjwani for the felicitation ceremony followed by an interactive session with the cricket enthusiasts of the school.
It’s noteworthy to mention here that Vivrant has been auctioned at a respectable amount of Rs 2.6 crore by Sunrisers Hyderabad for IPL 2023. He knocked 69 with 2 sixes and 9 fours in his debut IPL match played against Mumbai Indians.
Vivrant Sharma passed out in the session 2016-17 from JK Public School, Kunjwani and his legacy has become a driving force for the students of the school, the school which gave wings to the celebrated cricketer’s dreams.
There was an interactive session between him and the students wherein the students asked questions from him and felt motivated. The atmosphere of school was reverberated with his presence.
He shared his memorable moments with students, when he met the cricketer Brian Lara and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
He inspired students to follow their dreams and to work hard to achieve their goal. He told them to stay focussed and keep inspiring them till they reach their dream destination, exhibiting their indomitable spirit and unflinching self-belief.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore wished him good luck for his future endeavours and expressed his cherished desire of seeing him play for Team India.
He lauded his debut knock of 69, which is the highest IPL debut knock by any Indian batsman till date.
Director JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary appreciated Vivrant Sharma for his meteoric rise in the field of cricket and presented him a momento as a token of love & blessings. She wished him great innings ahead.
