JKPS Kunjwani girls shine in inter-zonal district level Volleyball competitions

JAMMU: In the U-19 Girls Team, five students of JK Public School Kunjwani brought laurels to the school by winning the Overall Championship in the Inter-Zonal District level Volleyball competition. It was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) J&K.
The winners are Monika Bushan, Retika Charak, Saara Kohli, Safoora Rizwan and Rudhrani Kapoor. These students of JKPS Kunjwani played in the U-19 Girls team of Volleyball of Zone Satwari and won the Overall Championship.
Director, Shashi Chaudhary and Principal of the School, Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the School assembly. The School Coach, Shubham Mehta was appreciated for his brilliant training programme in the school.
Addressing the morning assembly, Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore applauded the commendable feat of the Volleyball Girls team by bringing laurels to the Institution.
He inspired them to practise sincerely round the year and taking the words of legendary player Michael Jordan in letter and spirit: “Take your practice day as seriously as your match day”.
He invoked them to stay prepared every moment and make their presence felt even if they are called to play at a short notice. He wished them good luck for all their future endeavours.
