JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS), Kunjwani, observed Kargil Vijay Diwas with great enthusiasm and reverence on July 26, 2024. The special assembly was anchored by JKiian Heerjyot Kour, whose energy and zeal set a spirited tone for the event.
The whole school was reverberated by the patriotic song “Takat Vatan Ki Hum Se Hai”, which was beautifully sung by JKiians.
Adding to the great celebration, students from the Preparatory Wing delivered a moving skit that left the audience deeply touched and ignited great feeling of patriotism. Meanwhile, the Middle Wing students presented a poignant mime performance, honouring the bravery and sacrifice of our heroes. Director, Shashi Chaudhary addressed the gathering, expressing her pride in the students’ heartfelt participation and reinforcing the significance of remembering and celebrating our national heroes. She also expressed her deep love for the country.
The event was a befitting tribute to the courage and sacrifices made by the bravehearts during the Kargil war, showcasing the school’s commitment to fostering patriotism among its students and to instill the quality of love for the country.
