POONCH: J and K Pir Panjal Awami Party (PPAP) held a workers convention of Distt. Poonch at Dak Bungalow Mandi which was presided by Mohd Shafi Khatana Distt. President Poonch.
The convention was addressed by Raja Mohd Abass Khan, Party Patron and Party President Advocate Ch. Mohd Younis Chouhan. While speaking in the convention Raja Mohd Abass Khan strongly condemned the statement made by Cabinet Minster Lal Singh few days back, in which he had uttered un parliamentary, un-democratic and communal statements against Muslims of Jammu and had demanded an immediate dismissal of minster from Council of Ministers .
While speaking Party President Younis Chouhan condemned the statement of minister adding that Coalition Govt. has failed in all fronts and its ministers are making such statements to divert the attention of people from common issues of development.
Those who were present in the convention include Naseer Ahmed Qadri Advocate, Jafreed Ahmed Khari, Mohd Afzal Chouhan Abdul Rehman, Makhan Din , MOhd Fareed MOhd Ayoub, Hafeez-ur-Rehman Khan , Haji Maqsood, Mukhtar Ahmed , Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and Lateif Khan. Meanwhile, while strongly condemning the irresponsible and communally motivated statement of Forest Minister Lal Singh, Anjuman Islamia Bhadarwah demanded that he should be immediately sacked from the ministry.
Anjuman Islamia President Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh while addressing a congregation after Friday prayer at Markazi Jamia Masjid Bhadarwah said that minister’s outburst is the perfect mindset of RSS and Sangh Parivar. “Lal Singh has been repeatedly showing communal and biased approach towards Muslim, as he recently targeted nomad Gujjars by ordering dismantling of age old Dhooks at Padri Dhar,” said President Anjuman Islamia Bhadarwah Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh. Jamia Masjid Mohallah Sarafa and other Mosque of Bhadarwah and it’s adjoining areas have also condemned Lal Singh’s statement.
